Level I: Comprehensive Training in Neuro-Acupuncture
Focus: Clinical neurological assessment, Chinese scalp acupuncture, neurological rehabilitation, and clinical observation
Level I is an intensive five day postgraduate training program for acupuncturists and acupuncture trained physicians that integrates Chinese Medicine with practical clinical neuroscience. Graduates from this program will become specialists in the field for assessing, treating and managing neurodegenerative and neuromuscular disorders with acupuncture, herbs and physical rehabilitation.
Neurological disorders and their sequelae are estimated to affect one billion people and that number is expected to rise considerably in the years to come. Our five day program is designed for acupuncturists and physicians to develop their clinical skills to effectively treat and manage this growing health concern.

Level I Schedule
Day 1. Neuroacupuncture Level one: introduction, basic location and application
Day 2. Neuroacupuncture location, application, and technique
Day 3. Clinical Observation and Discussion
Day 4. Neurology and Neurological Examination
Day 5. Neurological physical therapy Taiji, Qigong or Yoga and Indian Breathing Exercise; Clinical Observation and Discussion, and course examination.
The April 6-10, 2018 Level I training will take place at Sunrise Springs Spa Resort, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The perfect location for experiential learning, group rates are available to participants who are fully registered by December 31, 2017 on a first-come, first-serve basis. A limited number of rooms and Casitas are available. Registration must be complete to reserve a room at Sunrise Springs.
